A perfect day here in Borth. The wind had been blowing all night so Steve, Spencer and I made a fairly early start and got to the beach at around 8am. There was no particular hurry as the wind was forecast to last all day, but we were soon on the water anyway with 5m(ish) sails and wave boards. The sea was fairly big and I was maxed out to start with and actually a little overpowered in the conditions so pleased that I didn't take any big rinsings!
The wind eased off a little as everyone else turned up for the boardwise demo and it soon settled down to a nice 25 knots so that I was just nicely powered on my 5m and little wave board... Although there were a few lulls now and then when things became a little marginal, but these were few and far between
There was probably about 20 people windsurfing at any one time, with about half managing to get out the back and the other half struggling in the shorebreak.
It was nice to be sailing with so many other people for a change and good to be sailing with the likes of Dave White and Simon Hurrey. Although some of the tricks Simon Hurrey was doing close to the beach were just a little too complicated for me!!

We stayed on the water until about 4pm when we just couldn't hang on anymore. All in all a great day in Borth.

I didn't try any new kit though as the conditions were too good to be pfaffing around with kit set-up and I just wanted to be out there on my kit enjoying it.
